We began selling meat and sausages on Keswick Market in 1975 and have been there on Saturdays ever since. In this time we have established regular local trade, also with visitors who return each year. Our sausages and ham have travelled the length and breadth of the country.

Orders can be taken at the stall - collected or sent by courier.

Mr Stevenson has supplied me with meat and eggs for over 15 years. The quality of his produce has always been excellent, especially his Cumberland sausage. He and his assistant are unfailingly friendly and helpful-nothing is too much trouble for them!

Together they work as a team so sublime, all the wares on display, wonderfully prime.

His pride and his joy are his sausages so fine, that even Prince Charlie has had some to dine.
If the van appears deserted, do not look far, you will find Jo in a window of the Cafe Pillar.
But when the days are short and the weather is cold, John is not to be found as he is getting old!
When the weather arrives with damp and the rain, he's off with his wife on holiday in Spain.
Leaving Jo and his son Giles, to carry on the task, of catering to his customers for all that they ask.

The thing that is never seasonal is the smile and welcome you get from John and Jo. This you get for free and is ever present in all weathers.

We always enjoy whatever we buy from you, be it fresh chicken, sausages, bacon or cold or fresh meat.
Our special order recently was excellent, you surpassed yourself. The Mungrisdale sausages were much enjoyed by all and our visitors took some home. The chicken was moist and succulent also the bacon and pork steaks were very good and enjoyed by all. Thank you, will see you next week.
